1-                         1- Abu – Ghraib factories include

                 Rafidain factory consists of the following sections:-

A)              A) Raw milk reception section :

         This section receives, cool, skim and homogenize raw  Milk and distribute it to the production sections each

       according to its concern after undergoing all laboratory

       tests.

   B) Sterilized milk section

                  At this section the milk is filled into glass bottles of ½ lit,  and produced in four kinds which are whole milk 3% fat,

                  milk 1.5% fat, non-fat milk and flavored milk  .

   C) Yoghurt section

                   This section produces yoghurt in containers of ½ lit, 1 lit

                   fat 1-3%, solid non-fat not less than 10% .

D)               D) Butter section

                  This section produces butter manufactured From  cream separated from raw milk with fat not                         

                    less than 80% of the final product.    

E)                E) Cream section

                  This section produces homogenized cream in containers of 150 gm, 200 gms. with fat not less than 30% of final

                    product .

F)               F) processed cheese section

                  This section produces processed cheese in various  containers of 250 gm & 500 gm with different fat

                     content for each brand .

                                      Al- forat Factory for soft  and ripened cheeses :-

                This factory produces Soft cheese ,Mozerella cheese, Gouda  cheese and other cheeses combined in the

                 manufacture of  curd.

2-              2) Mosul Dairy Factory

                  This factory produces sterilized milk in glass bottles, yoghurt, cream , processed cheese . this products are marketed

                 to the  northern provinces and kurdistan .

3-                        3) Diwaniya Dairy Factory

                  This Factory produces yoghurt , cream , processed cheese .products are marketed to middle provinces and south of Iraq

4)4-           4) Baby milk  plant

                The plant was established on 1977 to produce baby milk using  the know-how by French company Gallia with

                 designed capacity of 1200 tons/year .

                    In  1991 the plant was destroyed then after reconstruction the

                 plant began to produce by batch method . After development , capacity become 3000 tons/year packet in PE

                 bags formula 2 .Because of the embargo and for the reason that  most of the constituents has to be imported,

                   the plant stopped production in 2000 , in addition the plant needs at present to be rebuilt and

                 new filling machines to be added .
